Using a profile
Each .ovpn file works with any standard OpenVPN client — OpenVPN Connect on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, or the openvpn package on Linux. The StreamShield app handles all of this for you; the profiles are here for people who prefer their own client.
- Download the profile for the server you want and import it into your OpenVPN client.
- When the client asks for credentials, sign in with your VPN username and password. The profile alone does not connect — your account is what unlocks the tunnel.
- Pick a different server by importing its profile; you can keep several imported and switch between them.
