Does StreamShield VPN keep logs?

We keep no activity logs. We do not record the websites you visit, the services you stream, your DNS lookups, or the contents of your traffic. We do keep limited connection metadata — when a session started and ended, which server it used, how much data moved, and the IP address your device connected from — because your plan limits how many devices can connect at once and enforcing that limit requires it. Our Privacy Policy lists every field we hold and how long we hold it.

Will a VPN slow down my streaming?

Any VPN adds some overhead, because your traffic is encrypted and takes a longer path. StreamShield runs streaming-optimized routes to keep that overhead small, and connecting to a server near you generally gives the best result. If a particular server feels slow, switching to another one usually fixes it.

How many devices can I use at the same time?

Each plan includes a set number of simultaneous connections, shown on the plan itself. You can install StreamShield on as many devices as you like; the limit applies to how many are connected at once, and it is enforced in real time.

Which devices does StreamShield VPN work on?

There is a native Android app that also runs on Android TV and Fire TV devices. Everything else connects with a standard OpenVPN profile you can download from your account, which covers Windows, macOS, iOS, Linux, and routers that support OpenVPN.

Can I use StreamShield VPN while travelling?

Yes. That is one of the most common reasons people use it — keeping a private, encrypted connection on hotel and airport Wi-Fi, where the network between you and the internet is not one you control.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Plans renew automatically at the end of each term and you can cancel renewal at any point from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge; your access runs to the end of the term you already paid for.
